The last installment in the Birds of Prey series of 4 different Bullion Coins from the Royal Canadian Mint is the 2015 Great Horned Owl. With the maximum mintage capped at 1 million for each of the Birds of Prey rounds this four coin series is a must for any collector.
Minted in .9999 pure Fine Silver with the Great Horned Owl with wings spread shown descending on its prey with its sharp talons. The Owl was designed by Canadian artist Emily Damstra, and the coin features the initials 'ED' for the artist. The printing CANADA 9999 and FINE SILVER 1OZ ARGENT PUR is shown around the Owl. The reverse of the coin shows Queen Elizabeth II head by Susanna Blunt and words ELIZABETH II 2015 D.G.REGINA and 5 DOLLARS.
